Mackerel (Mac) the Cat needs a home
Mackerel is a Hurricane Harvey survivor from Rockport, Texas. He and his family escaped safely but their house did not. The family had Mackerel since he was 12 weeks old and planned on keeping him but the bad news finally arrived and their home will not be salvageable. They are moving in with other family members and Mackerel cannot go so they have tearfully given him up to be adopted.
Mac is about 7 months old now, neutered with all of his kitten vaccinations. His rabies vaccination and a health check up has been completed by Tejas. The family says Mac is very playful, litterbox trained, loves cat trees, toys and uses a scratching post. Mac really enjoys other cats for playtime and would make a purrfect companion for another cat or kitten needing a friend. Mac can also entertain himself for hours with circle toys and balls he carries around in his mouth. He watches tv and enjoys watching the fireplace. Mac comes with his scratching pad and toys. He has an exceptional personality.
